JENHO Joint Efforts National Humanitarian Organization was established in Dec 2023 as a sister organization of Japan Emergency NGO (JEN) with the aims of community development, good governance, promoting education, reaching food insecure people, and emergency response to the disaster-affected people.
JENHO came into existence with a team of JEN who were assigned and selected by Japan Emergency NGO to undertake the interventions of JEN in Afghanistan. The philosophy behind the existence of JENHO is the strategy of JEN to promote localization in the countries where it operates promotes the capacity of local staff and make them work independently to reach people in need.
