JENHO has implemented several large-scale WASH projects across Afghanistan to improve access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services for vulnerable populations. These interventions have targeted refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and crisis-affected communities with limited or no access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities, while addressing urgent public health risks. A central focus of JENHO’s WASH programming has been the provision of safe and reliable water and sanitation services across households, schools, and health centers. To achieve this, JENHO has constructed and rehabilitated essential WASH facilities, ensuring communities, students, and patients have access to clean drinking water, functional sanitation, and safe hygiene environments.
JENHO has been registered as a local NGO in the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan with registration number 5917 as of December 25th, 2023 as a not-for-profit national Organization.
