Background

JENHO has implemented protection and child protection interventions to safeguard vulnerable populations and strengthen community based protection systems for crisis affected communities, including women, children, returnees, and internally displaced persons.

Implemented protection and child protection interventions include:

  • Provision of general protection services, including protection monitoring, case identification, referrals, psychosocial support and community based protection mechanisms
  • Establishment and management of Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) and delivery of child protection awareness and safeguarding activities for children and caregivers
  • Identification, case management, family tracing, reunification and follow up support for Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC) and other vulnerable children
