Backround of JENHO

Joint Efforts National Humanitarian Organization was established in December 2023 as a sister organization of Japan Emergency NGO (JEN) with the aims of community development, good governance, promoting education, reaching to food insecure people, and emergency response to the disaster affected people. JENHO came to existence with team of JEN who were assigned and selected by Japan Emergency NGO to undertake the interventions of JEN in Afghanistan. Beside this, JEN transfers the tangible assets to JENHO  to support people in need in Afghanistan.

The philosophy behind the existence of JENHO is the strategy of JEN to promote localization in the countries where it operates and promotes the capacity of local staff and make them work independently to reach people in need.
